Lush and Bath & Body Works HAUL!

Hey beauties!

So I did some shopping and wanted to share everything I got with you!

I went to Bath and Body works to stock up on a few things and as well I went to Lush to restock a few things and try out some new products. So lets get into it :) Lush first <3

LUSH

Ill start with the things I restocked on

Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub- I wasn't to keen on this product when I first got it but after fell in love! Such a great exfoliator and body scrub! Very expensive though, not sure I will repurchase again sadly. Not because of the product, only because of the price.

Ro's Argan Body Conditioner- I am only about half way done my first one of these but I wanted a backup on hand since the colder months are coming and my skin gets very dry and this product is amazing! it is so moisturizing and the smell is so warm and nice. Seriously go smell this product! Especially if you have dry skin cause this is perfect! You'll want it in your life too!!

New Products I picked up

Sympathy for the Skin Hand and Body Lotion- I really wanted to try on of their body lotions and I wanted to find one that complimented Ro's Argan nicely, so I ended up with this one. It has a very nice subtle scent, they say it smells of banana custard which I can for sure smell that but just a very light scent of it. It isn't overly thick which is nice because I hate to feel like a have a lot of lotion on. I haven't used this product yet so if you guys want me to let you know how it is please leave me a comment below!

Mask of Magnaminty- Peppermint, kaolin, and scrubby aduki beans... YUP SOLD! The smell and description sold me on this product. Cant wait to use it! Again let me know if you want me to maybe do a review of this product :)

Godmother Soap- I got a sample of this last time I was at Lush and just needed a full size bar. Actually I got two bars lol. It smells like Swedish berries!!! And gets your skin very clean! bonus bonus! I literally can not stop smelling this soap..

I also got some bubble bars (which smell amazing!) and some other bath things for my daughter but I have already put them away.

Next up...

Bath and Body Works

I only picked up hand soaps and candles.. since the hand soaps are already put away and some are in use im not going to really talk about them because they really aren't that interesting lol I will list the scents that I got though :)

-Pumpkin Cupcake

-Warm vanilla sugar

-Crisp morning air

-Black cherry Merlot (2) yes it smells THAT good!

-A walk in the woods

-Kitchen Lemon

CANDLES!!!

I really wish these candles were not so expensive! But they do smell incredible so I justify it lol

Banana Nutmeg Bread Pudding- I got a 3 wick big candle of this scent and a small mason jar one. I think this one might be newer but regardless it smells so so good! You have to smell it for yourself to understand!

Pumpkin Cupcake- I liked the candle so much I ended up getting the hand soap to go with it. Literally smells like a pumpkin cupcake. Some of the other ones I found were to strong but this one is very nice in scent. Waiting for October to burn this one :)

Marshmellow Fireside- I was so upset they didn't have any 3 wick candles of this scent! I guess it is just that popluar, and I know why! I have never smelt anything like this before. It smells like fall/ winter to me. I could burn this candle through till spring and not get sick of it. Since they didn't have any larger ones I ended up getting 2 small 1 wick candles. I will be going back to see if I can get a few big ones cause I love it that much!

My 10 Favorite Products of ALL TIME!

Hey everyone!

So when I asked on Instagram what kind of blog post I should do, the first response was what my favourite or least favourite products. Since I already did my 5 beauty flops post I thought I would do my 10 favorite products of all time! This post was meant to only be 5 but I couldn't narrow it down to only 5 so it became 10! These will be the products that I simply cannot be without, whether they are newer to my makeup routine or if they have been around and repurchased many times. So lets get into it :)

1. Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24hr Foundation

I'm sure many of you seen this one coming lol. If you follow me on Instagram and see my makeup of the day pictures, you will usually find this foundation somewhere in there. This is like my holy grail foundation. It is full coverage, matte, and long wearing. This foundation is full coverage without it being heavy or thick on the skin. I do have a post about this product so you can check it out for more info on it! Oh and it is a pump foundation..like YAAAAASSSSSS. Love pump foundations!!

2. Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micelle Solution

This is a product that I have repurchased so many times I have lost count. I seriously love this product. Definitely my holy grail makeup remover/cleanser. It is so easy to use its ridiculous. All you do is squirt or pump ( depending on the bottle) the product onto a cosmetic round pad and you go over your whole face and your makeup is totally removed and all the dirt and icky stuff your skin has collected through the day or night is taken off. Small little fun fact about this product...if for some reason I have pen on my hand, I grab this stuff and it takes it off like its nothin. Also it removes hair dye off the skin! I have personally tried this and it WORKS! It's such a great powerful cleanser with so many different uses YET it is gentle enough to not irritate skin. The texture is literally like water. If you have never tried this product I would for sure you recommend trying it, even if you get a sample to try. It's worth it!

3. Sigma Flat Top Kabuki Brush F-80

Best foundation brush of life. I can not apply foundation any other way now, I must always use this brush. It is amazing and the hype is real. Everyone is loving it for a reason. I jumped on board quite a few months ago and I haven't turned back since. Don't think I could use another foundation for the foreseeable future. Enough said. HOLY GRAIL FOUNDATION BRUSH!

 

4. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz AND Benefits Gimme Brow

So I had to put these products into one since I use them together and for me it is the perfect combo for my brows. I keep backups on hand cause you never know. Sometimes I will use a different brow pencil and it is just never as good as the brow wiz! No matter what pencil I use I always top it with gimme brow. I don't know why but I just love the look it gives. It's just perfection. Two absolute FAVORITE brow products!!

5. Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner in Intense Black

Favourite liner ever! It is so black and so user friendly. I love how the product comes out and I love how's it does not budge once it dries. This is one of those products that I have a backup of in my drawer. 

6. Maybelline Mascaras

I had to generalize this because I love most Maybelline mascaras. Maybelline is my favorite brand for mascaras. Right now "the rocket" one is my favorite. It is so lengthening and just the perfect brush. check out my last blog post for more info about why I love Maybelline mascaras!

7. Nivea Hydrating Lip Balm

I have tried so many lip balms and I always go back to this one. It is not to thick on the lips but yet it is very moisturizing. I don't have a picture of this product right now because sadly my daughter got into it so I need to repurchase asap. This is the light blue one just in case any of you wanted to try it.

8. Kat Von D Everlasting Blushes

So far I only have 2 of these and I always find myself reaching for these over any other blush I have. They are very pigmented and blend very nicely. They are expensive but you really only need to use a little bit of product so it is very much worth the money. You get quite a bit of product as well. A few reasons why I love these!

9. Benefit Porefessional

Another product that I have a backup of because nothing compares to this primer! I have tried so many primers and still try to use different ones but I just cant stop grabbing for this one. It goes on so soft and really does fill in my larger pores. Since you only really need a small amount of product it lasts for months. One little tip about this product is you can throw it in your purse and apply it over foundation throughout the day for touch ups where needed. Wonderful FAVORITE PRODUCT!

10. Pur Minerals Miracle Mist

This product has probably made a few monthly favorites. I seriously love this product! It is so refreshing and revitalizing. I don't use it as a setting spray though, I only use it as like a spray toner because I find it is hydrating and feels amazing after cleansing. I am running low on this product and need to repurchase asap! Best thing is that you can a fairly big bottle and it is so inexpensive for the amount you get. A must have in my books for sure and definitely an all time fav!

All About Mascara!

This post is all about MASCARAS!!
I am only going to be talking about the ones I have tried which include new ones and not so new ones. And I will be letting you guys know my real true feelings about them.
Spoiler Alert! Most of these are drug store because I truly love drug store mascaras!!

I am going to put them by brand so hopefully that will be a little easier for you guys!

Maybelline (My favorite brand for mascaras)

One by one- This has been my ultimate favorite mascara for years. It always has done exactly what I wanedt it to do, which is long length a subtle but noticeable volume. It has a small rubber brush which I really like because it is not messy at all and great for bottom lashes. Always, always recommend this product!

The Rocket- I really enjoyed this product. It has a short thick rubber brush that is perfect for separating lashes and giving both length and volume! I did find it could be a little messy while applying but I still really like it regardless. I do recommend this one as well.

Pumped up(newest Maybelline mascara)- I really did not like this product at all. I found it so messy and the formula and way wetter then I prefer. The brush is bristle and it is very big. Too big in my opinion. Messy and clumpy. Sorry guys but I wouldn't recommend this one.

L'OREAL

Miss Manga- The brush on this is insane! no ones can describe it so I am just going to put up a picture of it. I actually don't mind the brush, I think its pretty cool and does exactly what it says it will. Unfortunately I find this formula very wet and takes to long to dry so I always end up smudging it by accident. I do like this but would only recommend it if you like a wet formula and intense volume.

Voluminous carbon black - I love this mascara! The brush is what I like to think of as a standard bristle brush and it works awesome. I love pairing it with either the miss manga or the rocket mascara. Only complaint I would have is I find sometimes the brush can have more product on it then I would like but I will still repurchase and recommend it.

Smashbox

Full Exposure- Very big bristle brush that is way way to big not to be messy. I disliked everything about this product and ended up giving it away. It was so sloppy and barely did anything to my lashes other then a tiny bit of length. I would not recommend purchasing this product at all, you can find a better one for a way lesser price.

Sample Size Mascaras Will I purchase a full size...or not?

Lancôme Hypnose Drama- The brush is like wavy and is bristle so I was skeptical. At first I really liked it but once I used it a few times the brush started to get clumpy and it was not pretty. I don't know if a full size will do that but id rather save my money so sadly I will not purchase a full size.

Makeup Forever Smokey Extravagant- AMAZING! I love this mascara so dearly. The bristle is so great (ill add picture). The length I get it this is incredible and no clumping. The brush is on the bigger side so it can be a little messy but it is so worth it! Definitely will be purchasing full size!

Too Faced Better then Sex- I am glad I got to try this sample size but to be honest I didn't find it really did much for me. I found the brush odd and just not my type of brush that I could use. It ended up just sitting in my mascara drawer and me never reaching for it. I know a lot of people really like this mascara so I would be willing to try it again down the line.

Smashbox Master Class Palette lll

Hey Beauties
So todays post is going to be about the new Master Class Palette by Smashbox. This is the 3rd palette like this they have come out with and I think they are fantastic!


This is actually consists of 2 removable palettes, 4 get the look pages, and a set of blank face charts so you can create your own look.




So starting with the palettes as a total they consist of 32 eye shadows ranging from nudes to brights, 3 blush colors, 1 contour shade, 1 bronzer, and 1 highlighter. (Yes this is the mother load people lol)




All of the eye shadows are very pigmented and creamy. There are 13 shades of matte sheen colors, so they don't have any shimmer just a nice sheen matte kind of finish. They are beautiful. The rest 19 are beautiful shimmer colors. I am so insanely impressed with all of the eye shadows and the range of colors you get.

Overall I think this palette is very much worth it. You get so much product for the price. I believe in the US it goes for $65 and in Canada it is $72. Great for a gift or someone just starting out with makeup.

Another month has come and gone, so its time to share some monthly favorites.

1.Covergirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous Foundation

If you read my blog post about these products then you know I have been loving this foundation. It is my go to right now and I cant get enough. It leaves the perfect finish and gives a medium coverage. I love it and have used it everyday this month!

2. PurMinerals Afterglow Illuminating powder

This is so pretty. It is a light golden color but gives the prettiest lit from within look. since I purchased it I have not used any other highlight. A little goes a long way and you only need a touch to get an awesome highlight.

3.NYX Dewy Finish setting spray

This is a must have during summer. It makes me look so fresh and dewy its amazing. I love it. Not much more to say other then..You need this in your life!!!

4. Lush Lemony Flutter Cuticle Cream

So I know this is a cuticle cream and I do use it for my cuticles but it can be used for so many other things so I love it!!! It is a great lip butter and I also use it for my severe dry patches on my legs. And I must say it has totally changed my dry legs. This stuff is amazing! The smell is so yummy too which is a plus. This stuff just like melts into your skin ugh I cant get enough!

5.Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Bouquet

These pencils are incredible. They wear beautifully and are so easy to apply perfectly to the lips. I found it didn't feather on me and kept my lips moisturized. And the color is so pretty! I can not get enough of it! Definite lip obsession right now!

My Top 5 Favorite Youtube Vloggers

Hey all you beautiful people!
So today I thought I would do something a little different and share with you my favorite beauty vloggers/YouTube channels. I narrowed it down to only 5, though I do watch a fair amount of channels. I picked the ones where I am always looking for new videos from them and the ones where I thoroughly just enjoy every video they have. I am big on personalities as well and I think it is so great to see that in most of the vloggers!


A shout out to all the vloggers and bloggers out there.  You all are so amazing whether you're getting in front of a camera or in front of a keyboard and putting your thoughts out into the world, its truly amazing and takes courage. Jaclyn Hill
Now most of you probably watch her channel and so you know why she is at the top of my list. She was such an inspiration to me and still is. Not only is she an amazing makeup artist but she has helped probably thousands of people be able to be themselves. I know she did that for me. Jaclyn showed me that its okay to let your real self shine through and to not hide it. And anyone that can do that from making Youtube videos is a very incredible person in my eyes. You're amazing Jaclyn, and thank you for all your inspiration!

Nicole Guerriero
Nicole is another big inspiration. She is so herself and doesn't hide it. Her videos are so amazing, she does a lot of tutorials but she also does a variety of others which is really fun to watch. I think just in general she is a really fun person to watch. Like Jaclyn she usually does bloopers at the end and I think it is so funny. The time it must take them to film in edit videos must be crazy. So all in all, shes awesome. You go girl!

Casey Holmes
I love this girl! She has amazing style and I adore the makeup tutorials she does.  Her personality really shines through in her videos and I think that is awesome. Plus her puppies are so insanely adorable! You can just tell how nice of a person she is and I love that she gives her honest opinions about products. You're amazing Casey!

Now Im not entirely sure what her full name is but her YouTube name is sammie460. I believe this girl has about 15000 followers which is awesome but she deserves more! I find her so funny and informative at the same time. She is an amazing makeup artist and has so many aspects to her life. I think she does a few different things career wise and is getting a degree (I believe). I believe her name is Laura and she is the mother of 3 (from what I remember). What I really like about her channel is there is always a new video. She puts a new one up every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If I need my YouTube fix I know if I go to her channel something new will be there. She also does a lot of monthly unboxing subscription boxes which I really love watching those kid of videos. Now she is one of my favorites because of how often she put up videos but sometimes I find they can be a little bit boring and she drags on talking about a product. I still love her though and would definitely check her out. Thank you for your videos :)

Ready, Set, GORGEOUS!

Hey Everyone!

So I have been on a drug store splurge lately and I have been loving it! The products I am going to be talking about today are fairly new. The Ready, set, GORGEOUS line by Covergirl. They came out with a foundation, concealer, powder, and even makeup remover wipes(which are actually the Clean line) So far I am loving the products. I actually got them on sale so that's why I thought I would try all 3 products (minus the wipes). 

Foundation

This product is so lightweight and easy to blend. Its feels so airy while on the skin. It is the perfect foundation for summer! It is oil free and helps control shine all through the day. I would say it is a light to medium coverage leaning more on the medium side. It is FANTASTIC! Right now during these summer months this foundation is wearing better on my skin then my high end foundations. I can not even begin to explain how in love with this product I am. I have been wearing it every single day and most likely will continue to wear it until I use it up then ill buy another tube of it. I have never been so obsessed with a drug store foundation before.             

Concealer

This concealer fits perfect with the foundation. It covers fantastically, I would definitely say it is a medium to full coverage concealer. The one thing I could not believe with this product is the fact that it only slightly creased under my eyes. Every concealer I have ever tried whether it be a high end or drug store product has creased under my eyes, so I was surprised when it only did a little. I find this product to be the perfect consistency for a concealer. Its not to thick where it will look cakey and its not to liquidy where it wont conceal a darn thing. It is right in the middle and it does an amazing job!

Powder

So I'm not usually a big fan of powders (other then translucent setting powders) because I have dry skin and normally the just don't work for me. I have used this powder alone yet but I did use it over top of the foundation and concealer and I found it wore very nicely and didn't cake or anything. It is a very smooth powder and a very much enjoy it. I think the only reason I really got the powder was because I fell in love with the packaging. It is insanely cute! (come on, what girl doesn't like white and pink?!) It is small and compact so you can throw it in your purse and take with you to help you stay shine free all day long!

So overall I am very impressed with all of these products! If you are on the fence about buying any of these products or are looking for a more inexpensive good quality product, then go get these! You will not be disappointed!


I must apologize because this was meant to go up a few weeks ago when I first got these products but I had some technical issues, which by the way drove me insane lol but I am glad I finally finished this and it is going up! This post will most likely be spread out because of the previous issue. Hopefully this wont happen again!
