Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24hr Foundation

Hey dolls!
So my very first review. This is so exciting!! So I have to say that the Lancôme Teint Idole foundation is by far my favourite out of every foundation I have used. The texture is perfect along with the coverage, I am just in love with it. So of course naturally it had to be my first review.

So Ill start by what it says on the bottle. It is a retouch free makeup, which I believe it is exactly that. Maybe more oily skin types might have to retouch but more normal, combination, and dry shouldn't have to retouch at all. It is SPF 15 which is always nice to have. It does say it is recommended for all skin types which I also agree with. I do think that more combination to oily skin types would be better suited for all of the benefits of this foundation though. I do have dry skin myself and I am very much in love with this foundation but not everyone with dry skin likes a matte finish but I personally do. The finish of this product is incredibly beautiful. It has a flawless matte finish which is just gorgeous.

It is a full coverage foundation but I do find that with more redness in the cheek area it doesn't cover fully. Fortunately it is lightweight enough that it can be layered for more coverage in problem areas (Love that!).The texture is very creamy and smooth. When it is applied it is very light on the skin and breathable which is awesome for a full coverage foundation.
There is a wide selection of colors including warm, cool, and neutral tones. One thing I love about this foundation is that the bottle is glass and it is a pump.

I find it best applied with a buffer brush. Personally I use the Sigma flat top kabuki brush and it works amazing with it. I have used a beauty blender knock off with it and I found the finish wasn't as nice as it is with the kabuki brush. It is personal preference on how you would like to apply so please keep that in mind. The only way I wouldn't recommend applying this foundation is with your fingers. I just don't believe it will give that flawless look like a brush or blender would.

Price wise this foundation can be a little expensive but i do believe that you will get your moneys worth from it. I know I have, that's for sure.

I really hope this review was helpful and gave you some information that you were maybe looking for! Thank you so much for reading my first review! A new review will be coming up within the next few days so please keep an eye out for it.

Take care beauties xo
